Trent Thorkildsen, Infrastructure Specialist
How long you’ve been with S&S?
I have been working at S&S for a little over a year. I started as an intern in February of 2020 and transitioned to a full-time position after I graduated from Champlain College in May of 2020.
What is your role and what do you like most about your job?
My official position title is Infrastructure Specialist which means I work in the Tech Ops department and help resolve both internal and customer technical issues. I work heavily on both the hardware and networking side of issues to ensure data communication is flowing properly. My favorite part of my position is being able to work on a wide variety of issues, which helps to not only strengthen my fundamentals but also consistently learn new concepts.
What you do outside of your day to day, interests & hobbies etc.?
Outside of work at S&S I enjoy skiing, playing the guitar, spending time with friends and going out to eat. I also own a Bearded Dragon lizard named Ricky who is 3 years old and approximately 2 feet long.
